Choir Retreat

Sunday, September 6, 2009
The BEST part of Sunday's is the fact that we get to go to church and worship our WONDERFUL SAVIOR. Dale and I have attended this same church (Hudsonville Baptist -then name changed in 1994 to Grace Community) all our lives...yes, we really have known each other all our lives!
I have been involved in our church choir since I was a sophmore in high school, only taking time off for our baby's births and illnesses, etc. Each Fall we meet for a day long retreat to learn the new music that our director, Brian Felten, chooses for the year. Here are just a few pictures of our choir at this years retreat held at GENEVA Camp and Retreat Center in Holland. Our normal numbers range from 50-70 on a Sunday morning, so this is just a small group of the regular members.Brian and his wife Sharon make quite a team in leading us in worship.
We welcome teens to join the choir and love having the large variety of ages. What better way to create a full sense of community within the local church body.

Our pastor, Steve, and his wife, Lois, arrived on their motorcycle toward the end of the day to give a "charge" to the choir concerning our ministry to the body of believers and ultimately to our Lord.

If you are in our area, we would love to have you come worship with us. Pin It Now!
