First Day of School

Tuesday, September 8, 2009
Today is the first day of school and our grandson, Tyler, is heading into Second Grade. I cannot believe how fast the years fly when you are watching the kids grow up. It just seems like yesterday that I was sending off our own children to school. Where did all those years go? Tyler will be in Miss Scott's class and I made this cute little paper backpack filled with Hershey Nuggets for Tyler to give to Miss Scott. He actually gave it to her at the open house last week. I found this idea on Splitcoast Stampers -it is the best place for searching out great ideas.
It's hard to see but the nuggets are wrapped with the same DSP that is on the backpack

Menu:
SS: I used a retired set called Kind Thoughts but any background stamp would work.
CS: Bermuda Bay 8 1/2 x 11 and DSP, WW
Ink: Bermuda Bay
Accessories: BIG SHOT, Butterfly Die, Bermuda Bay Polka Dot Ribbon, WW 1/4" grosgrain ribbon, eyelets, eyelet setter, sticky pearls, magnet snaps or velcro circles, Modern Label Punch.
