December Cakes

Saturday, December 31, 2011
Wow! this was a BIG month for cakes, and it could have been bigger as I had to
turn down one order for the same weekend as the wedding cake order.

CAKE #1

Little Jacob turned FIVE years old and they asked me to make a cake to share
with the Sunday School Class.

CAKE #2
Dean wanted another Guitar cake. I asked him to show me his guitar
and he asked if I could make it an electric guitar.

CAKE #3
Next was a college graduation cake...

And now... the Wedding Cakes...

The lady who did all their flowers made this beautiful topper for the cake
full of itty bitty roses.
6 Sheet Cakes all the same design but a variety of flavors and fillings

Whew!!!

See you NEXT YEAR!!!!

officially a "Sneak Peek"

BIG Order

Wednesday, December 28, 2011
Every December I get a BIG order from our Financial Consultant who, thankfully, uses me as her source of greeting cards for all her clients.

These are the cards (72 of them) that I made for the women clients...

I snagged this idea from a card Glenda made way back when,
but I was glad to see the pretty Happy Birthday stamp come
out in a new stamp set available in January during Sale A Bration time
(January 24-March 31).
You can get this stamp set FREE with a $50 purchase (before S&H and Tax)

C3 Party

Tuesday, December 27, 2011
Last week Christi's Creative Crew (C3) celebrated Christmas
with a yummy potluck and party.

Always - way more food than we need, but it was all delicious!

We played a game and then shared some gifts...

Virginia opened up this cute ornament that Marlane made

Marlane made these ornaments for everyone with
"Christi's Creative Crew"
inside

Marlane opened up this yummy gift that Carla made for everyone

Carameled Corn Pops - My FAVORITE!!

Carla opened up this darling apron from Virginia

Sue opened up this kit from me - it was made with 4 Fancy Favor Boxes
attached together with the Sweet Stitches Cardstock, a coordinating
note pad, Hershey nugget sleeve and a pot holder from the
Sweet Stitches Fabric

I opened up this matching coaster set and Post It note pad from Sue.

The gift I gave all my down line gals...

Then we had a MAKE AND TAKE ...

We stamped the cute Snow Much Fun Stamp Set on candles...

I just love spending time with all these gals. Sending a shout out to
Patty, Penny and Jeanette who were not able to make it to the party!
WE MISSED YOU!!

Teacher Gifts

Monday, December 26, 2011
Our daughter, Julie, is such a busy mom. She works three days a week and is full time mom to Tyler and Gracie. On top of that she is the PTC President for the kids elementary school.

The typical "mom taxi" describes her life right now, so when she mentioned she needed small gifts for the kids teachers I jumped in to help her out.

A YUMMY batch of Puppy Chow (People Chow)+

Left over containers from the craft sales+

Snow Much Fun Stamp Set =

A fun, yummy gift for the teachers.

I love it when it all comes together.

Have a Blessed Day!!

Wednesday, December 21, 2011
Our Grand daughter, Gracie, has started Ballet classes and it was so
fun to go to her first Ballet Recital.

She was a bit shy but she got into it and did a great job.

I just HAD to make a card for Gracie to show her how proud we are of her

This idea was copied from Jackie Topa's blog
