Day 2 of the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference was much more fun! We met for the General Session and had some fun stamping ideas, then there was a chance to look at all the display boards. I love to see the creativity of others so I will share some of my favorites with you.
This one is kind of hard to see but it is made using the little bumblebee stamp just with the wings snipped off and tucked in a little envelope "blanket" - a darling baby card.  Shelli shared this one on stage.
I guess my favorite class was Frenchie's when she talked about using the Blendabilities Markers (she calls them Blendies) in your classes.  She has quite the sense of humor and had everyone in stitches.  I wish the camera on my phone took better pictures - sorry about the blurry.
I will share one of the cards that she showed and also displayed on her board, it is also the one she made for her swap
Thanks for sharing in my day!

Once again I want you to have all the info you need to take advantage of this great deal while I am away, and if you want to have an update on my first day of the Leadership Conference please scroll to the bottom.

This is the gift that I brought along for France Martin and Glenda Calkins at the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference.  I also made one for our hostess where we are renting during this week.
I love the Stacked With Love Paper Pack that is what I used on the strip.   Of course I cased this idea, but since I am not home I don't have my info with me for that. I will have to amend my blog posts once I get home.
The first day of Stampin' Up! Leadership was full of information mostly concerning the new Career Plan that they are instituting.  By the end of the day I could not retain one more piece of information.  It will take a bit for me to wade through it all but it is looking like they put their heart and souls into this - not for themselves, but for us!
Shelli had a fun time of stamping on stage for us and I am hoping to get some pictures of her projects when I go tomorrow.
At the end of the day, Dale picked me up for supper and then the Manager's Reception at Disney's Hollywood Studio.  This is when we know that they really appreciate us because this was no small production that they put on for us.  A private viewing of Fantasmic! This is probably only 1/3 to 1/2 of the people who attended this years Manager's Reception
And look who sat right in front of us! Shelli and Sterling!
Another fabulous light show

and then a dessert buffet!  YUMMO!! Mickey shaped Key Lime desserts.  The little stick thingy on the left is a push up cheesecake - it was delish!!
 Mickey shaped brownies
2 rides, the Rockin' Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror were open exclusively for the Stampin' Up! crowd.
The line was forever long to get our picture taken with Mickey and the gang so we got a shot of some random people with them.  LOL! I was sure that Dale would take the plunge on the Tower of Terror but it seems as though he either hasn't shaken the cold that he had the week before we left OR he has a brand new bug - gee thanks, hun!!  Hopefully I don't catch it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Don't forget to take advantage of this great deal while I am away.  You can also get more bang for your buck if you purchase from the WEEKLY DEALS.  I love all the embossing folders!! They are a MUST-HAVE in my card making and crafting.

Here is a great deal for you...While I am away (January 24-Feb 1) I have a SPECIAL HOSTESS CODE for you to use to place an order.  EVERYONE who places a $50 or more on line order will get your name put in a special drawing to win this package of goodies from me!  Along with your $50 order you will get one FREE item from the Sale a bration brochure. Yesterday was a day to lay back and give our feet a rest.  I love a slow start to my day even if I don't sleep in.  We had a chance to visit with our host who we are renting the mobile home from and then at night it was the Luau at the Polynesian Resort. This in NOT a cheap meal, BUT it is way cheaper than taking a trip to Hawaii to attend one!
I reminded us of when we went to Hawaii to celebrate our 25th Anniversary in 2002.
Well, enough playing around - today is the first day of the Stampin' Up! Leadership Conference and I am excited to get there! I will update you tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by!

Day 4

Don't forget about this great deal and then scroll down if you want to see what we did yesterday on our vacation

Yesterday was our day to visit Magic Kingdom. It was our Disney Park of choice for this year.
When I walk down Main Street USA and see Cinderella's Castle...
in my heart I feel just like these darling little Princesses. My heart is light and I want to dance (like no one is watching),
and then I realize that my feet are sore, my knees are creaky, and my back is cranky. So I will just enjoy it in my very own 57 year old body (because my heart is still about 5-10 yrs old).  My hubby on the other hand, is still a little Goofy!
I could never show you all the photos we took because that would be WAY too many so I will give you some highlights...Main Street USA is still my favorite part of the park with it's old style buildings and it was so funny to see these people dressed up in the garb of years past. The guy was the mayor elect and all he was saying was "blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah" the whole time and the ladies were either totally agreeing with him or totally disgusted with him.  Just like the politicians today - right?!
The day started out right away with a fun parade and a song and dance show if front of the Castle
We enjoyed our Chip & Dale sightings!! You can refer back to yesterdays post on this one!!
Dale likes the rides so while he went on Space Mountain I went to see Monster's Inc. Laugh Fest.  So here is a joke for you... Why can't Cinderella play soccer? Because she keeps running away from the ball!!
We both love The Hall Of Presidents and this is a beautiful rug they have there in the lobby.
At night we watched the Main Street Electrical Parade
My favorite was Elliot the Dragon from the movie Pete's Dragon. I remember watching this with our kids, guess that is why it is one of my favorites
Afterwards they did this amazing light show on Cinderella's Castle
 Pinocchio
I love this little elephant from Jungle Book
Elsa from Frozen got a LOT of chatter from the little ones in the park and they were signing along with the famous "Let it go" song
And, of course, it all started with a mouse!
just amazing - totally amazing! Disney always does a bang up job!
FIREWORKS over the castle is always a must see at the end of the day
Thanks for stopping by!
