Laid Up

Wednesday, March 16, 2016
On Friday I am heading into surgery to repair the bunion area of my left foot.  Someone asked me how long I will be "laid up" to which I promptly replied "I will NOT be LAID up!"  I'm sure I will take it more easy in the days and weeks to come, but there isn't much that keeps me totally down. I will keep you posted as to how I am doing!
In the mean time I ran across this cute idea and had to give it a try.  It is inspired by KTHomdesigns
I designed the wording by using My Digital Studio.  The Punches used for the toes are:
Big Toe: 1 1/4" Circle
Next Toe: 1" Circle
Middle Toe: 1" Circle
Next Toe: 3/4" Circle
Baby Toe: 1/2" Circle
The sides of the 4 smaller toes were trimmed off on the sides.
I used the retired Blush Blossom Card Stock for the card and toes and sponged them with Blushing Bride. Blushing Bride Card Stock or Pink Pirouette would be fine too, but I have always loved the flesh color of Blush Blossom.
The bandaid was punched out of Naturals Ivory (retired) card stock using the Washi Tape Punch, trimmed and rounded the corners, and sponged the edges with Crumb Cake.
I had to create a foot pattern by hand - sorry no help there!!
I created the words using WORD on the computer.
