Celebrating St Patrick's Day with treats!
The "gold at the end of the rainbow" came from Irish mythology and the "luck" part of St Patricks Day is because if you are "LUCKY" enough to spot a leprechaun he MAY lead you to that gold at the end of the rainbow. But when I google Saint Patrick I find that St. Patrick's Day is founded in Christianity. You can read all about him HERE.  I do love it that Saint Patrick used the clover (3 leaf) to teach about the Trinity, and that he was a missionary to Ireland - his home land.
These are the treats that I made for Tyler and Gracie
These 2 kids love their candy (just like Gramma), but Sawyer's Mommy and Daddy prefer him to skip the candy and go for more natural treats.
So this is what I made for Sawyer.  I even made enough for the whole family.
And look at this strawberry I found - my very own "3 leaf clover" in the form of a strawberry.
This next treat is one I cased from Melissa Davies on Pinterest. I handed these out to the ladies who popped in on Tuesday for my COME STAMP WITH ME CLASS.
 Here is a close up
Thought I would make a card to match to send to Joey and Melissa. I used a retired stamp for the sentiment called GO GREEN, and BEST BIRDS Stamp Set along with the PETAL BURST Embossing Folder
These are the Stampin' Up Supplies that I used on my St Patrick's Day treats
